We strive to take care of our customers in all ways, and that includes our propane pricing, which is always competitive, fair and aboveboard. When you buy your propane from Sail Energy, you can have your fuel, your comfort, your way.

What does that mean? We offer three tiers of service you can choose from, each designed to accommodate your precise fuel needs and priorities. They are:

• With our comprehensive Total Comfort Bundle, you’ll get the biggest discounts, the most protection, the highest level of service and the easiest payment methods. It’s our top-value package and includes Auto Pay, a convenient monthly budget and price protection. (The average Total Comfort customer saves $250 annually!)
• With our Flex Option, you receive automatic delivery and can choose from an a la carte selection of service plans — plus the price protection, payment and budget programs you prefer.
• With our DIY Option, you contact us for each propane delivery and can qualify for discounts when you order online.

Sail Energy customers can choose from several different options for propane delivery, pricing plans and payment methods. We designed these options to take the stress out of budgeting for your home energy by letting you know precisely what you will pay.

Please Note: Many of these programs are only available to Flex and Total Comfort customers.

Propane Pricing Options

Propane prices fluctuate because of many factors that are beyond our control . we offer two different pricing options that influence what you pay:

1. Daily Variable Price — Our simplest approach involves no restrictions or contracts. Your fuel price is based on what we pay for your fuel and is always guaranteed to be consistently fair. (Available to DIY and Flex customers)
2. Price Cap — With this option, there’s a ceiling on how much you will pay per gallon for propane but no floor on how low it can go. If our variable price is above the cap, you pay the cap rate. If it drops below the cap, you pay the lower amount. (Available only to Flex and Total Comfort customers)

Propane Payment Options

For many of our Central Maine customers, propane usage goes up during expensive months in the fall and winter. Sail Energy gives you choices about how you pay for your fuel:

1. Pay As You Go — If you prefer to pay us in full whenever you receive a propane delivery from us. (Available to DIY and Flex customers)
2. Smart Pay Monthly Budget Plan — We let you spread out your fuel costs over the course of the year. Smart Pay cuts your winter fuel payments in half and makes your fuel billing much more predictable. Plus, there are no interest charges or fees if you pay your monthly Smart Pay payments on time. You can also spread service plan costs out under this program. (Available only to Flex and Total Comfort customers)
3. Prebuy with Price Cap — Purchase your winter fuel before the season starts. Your fuel price is capped but not locked in. It can drop if market prices fall. This is an excellent option for customers who like to keep things simple but like having the potential to save money. (Available only to Flex and Total Comfort customers)

Whichever pricing or payment option you choose, Auto Pay is the most convenient way to pay. We’ll automatically charge your bank (ACH) or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover). You’ll never need to worry about a lost check in the mail again!
